ALL LEAGUE MEET:

For those who are not familiar or would like a reminder - our All League Meet is a culmination of the entire season for Herndon Swim League - all HSL teams come together for a full day meet on July 25th. Everyone can swim and is encouraged to do so. There is a different element of this meet however.....Let me explain.....

This is an "All League Meet" which means each team from Herndon Swim League comes together for this final opportunity to compete in 2025 Summer Swim. There are also awards handed out for Senior Scholarships and for meet volunteers. It's a great event, with our friends across all HSL teams - highly recommend your child attend for the experience and the fun medals/ribbons.

Here is what you need to know:

  • Everyone can compete in the All-League Meet
  • Entries are due by Saturday, July 18th (final meet to get a champs time will be 7/18)
  • Times from 7/22 meet will not be eligible
  • Your child can swim 2 individual strokes and the IM if they have a 2026 legal time.
  • Entries will look a little different when you log in to SwimTopia. You will see the letter "A" or "C" after the event number, and you will only be able to mark them available for that race.
    • A=Allstar - any swimmer can swim these events with a 2026 time that is under the Champs qualifying time.
    • C=Champs - these are the swimmers that have a season qualified time that is considered fast enough to swim in the Champs arena
  • Your child can be both an Allstar and Champ with various times in the 4 strokes
  • Both Champs and Allstars receive medals and ribbons - they compete against their own cohort (Champs v Champs) (Allstars v Allstars)
  • Example
Swimmer is 11-12 and qualifies for:
Event 7C (freestyle champ) with a champ time
Event 19A (backstroke Allstar) with an Allstar time
    Event 31C (breast Champ)
    Event 41A (fly Allstar)
~This swimmer wants to swim in Freestyle and Fly - one of their races will be a champs race and one will be an Allstar race, given their swim preference. The swimmer may also be selected for the 200M mixed age relay
