Happy Monday to our Stingray families!!

Two wins in a row, with some incredibly fast swims on Saturday! Congrats everyone, isn't the yards pool fun?  Note, that all times do get converted back to a meters so you might see some difference in times when you look at your Swimtopia.  That's just to try and keep things fair across the league.

New Stingrays Silicone Swim caps have arrived!!!  Grab yours today for $20, if taken care of they will last for years to come.  We will have at the meet on Wednesday!  

This week will feel like a short week for us, but fear not, we have plenty going on.  

• Wednesday night HOME MEET vs. Kingstream (one of our favorite teams)
  • Here are a few details and reminders:
    
    • Declare your swimmer by noon on Tuesday, June 30th
    • Sign up for a volunteer spot or two
    • Theme this week: Red/White/Blue - It's our Nations 250th, let's do it right! 
    • Arrive by 5:15 to get ready for 5:25 Warm-ups
    • Pre-Order a Pizza (cheese or pepperoni) so you can feed the whole family and take a cooking night off! Preorder form will come out soon
    • Additional concessions will also be available
    • Parking - please, please, please do not block driveways or easements in the neighborhood, do not park in front of the boat/trailer gates, on any grass areas or the fire lanes. We do not want you towed!
      • After our last meet I received word from HC HOA that they will be contracting Road Runner towing to monitor our meets and will tow as needed.    
    • We leave the pool better than we found it! As relays start, please help us start to reset the pool deck and clean up. All trash, food, goggles, towels, etc. need to be cleaned up. 
    • Thursday morning will be game day to celebrate the hard work of the swimmers the night before.  
• No Practice on July 3rd and No Meet on July 4th - enjoy the fireworks and fanfare of the 4th of July.  

Herndon Olympics Update.  Initial entries have been submitted.  We are only guaranteed our two fastest swimmers available for each event.  From there we have to go fight it out (not really but sorta) with the other teams for more entries at the bid meeting tomorrow night.  Coach Lilly and/or I will confirm attendees on Wednesday, for planning purposes.
